Happy New Year!

 

On New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31, 2023), Orchestra Miami presents the ultimate New Year’s Eve Celebration- an unforgettable, free, family-friendly, beachfront concert performed by Miami’s premiere professional orchestra, Orchestra Miami, led by Miami native and Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi. Ring in the New Year with Maestro Rinaldi, the 42 musicians of the orchestra, and our special guests, Miami based, three-time Latin GRAMMY®-nominated group Negroni’s Trio and Latin Diva Marinel Cruz!

Latin meets Jazz meets Classical in this celebratory concert. Enjoy Latin classics such as Piel Canela, La Chica de Ipanema, arias from selected Zarzuelas, Bachianas Brasileiras N. 5 and much more!

The festivities start at 8 PM with a performance by the Orchestra Miami string quartet performing festive music to get you in the mood. The full orchestra takes the stage at 10 PM and the performance concludes at midnight with a spectacular fireworks display, sponsored by the City of Miami Beach!

(East of Collins Avenue on the sand)

between 21st & 22nd Streets.

FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring?

Bring a beach chair or blanket, picnic, Skin So Soft for no-see-ums, comfortable shoes to walk in the sand, and bug spray. Seating is not provided except for handicap patrons.

Is this family friendly?

Yes, recommended for ages 8+. 

Health/Safety/COVID?

This is an outdoor event; please check the weather so you can be prepared. Come early to claim your space.

Location of concessions: 

Boucher Brothers concession located at the 21st Street beach entrance, near the public restrooms.

Where do I park?

1. Parking is available at the Collins Park Garage, located at 340 23 rd Street, or the G7 Garage in the 1755 Meridian Building or in the 17 th Street Garage.

 

Arrive early to allow time for parking, walking to the park & staking out your spot! The Collins Park Garage is our #1 recommended parking location for this event. 

Where are bathrooms?

Public restrooms available on the beach at the 21st Street entrance. Handicapped facilities located in the VIP area- ask attendant for assistance

Will there be food?

Concessions are available for purchase from the Boucher Brothers concessions. Bring a picnic! Please note, that alcohol is ONLY available for purchase and consumption in the VIP area

  • Shrimp Roll

  • Chicken Salad Roll

  • House Salad, with Option to add: Shrimp Salad or Chicken or Chicken Salad

  • Soft beverages, water and sodas

Are there chairs provided?

There will be limited seating provided for handicapped and elderly patrons. All other guests are advised to bring a blanket or a beach chair. VIP tickets come with a reserved seat (chair).
